Year-round Services. The Continuous programming presents cohesive lessons and standards, and ongoing exposure to the Girls to Women program's core values.
Diversity. Welcoming socioeconomic diversity, we teach girls to work and communicate with many different types of people.
Heritage and History. With a year-round program based in the West End House in Allston, and our summer facility neighboring the West End House Camp in Maine, we access a century of institutional knowledge, and we add value to those communities in continuing their history of service to youth.
Innovative Programming. By combining innovative educational and life-skill building curricula with traditional camp activities, we specifically target the needs of our community of girls. We teach girls to believe in their self-worth and that they have the power to direct their own successes.
Involvement of Experts. We look forward to offering sessions in concert with partner organizations that have proven expertise in a particular aspect of working with young women, both during the summer camp and school year.
Sustainable Development. We meet today's needs while preserving natural and financial resources to meet the needs of future generations. We limit our impact on the environment and reduce costs by engaging our girls in the growing of food and other plants, recycling, and the conservation of nature.
