2024 Summer Dates

Session 1: July 1st-12th

West End Explorer’s Camp: July 14th-18th

Session 2: July 22nd - August 2nd

Session Descriptions

West End Explorer’s (WEE) Camp - WEE Camp is designed as an introductory camp for first-time campers ages 6-9 years old. This three-night, four-day session is tailored for young first-time campers to get to know camp in a fun and short time period. Campers are introduced to the best camp-life has to offer: camp activities, campfires, s’mores, camp songs, cabin life, new friends, and amazing memories! This session is for you if you have a young camper who is interested in camp but is hesitant about a longer two-week session.

Session 1 & 2 - Session 1 & 2 is our traditional 2-week session for campers 7-17 years old.

Camperships

In the event that Tier 1, 2 or 3 are out of your family’s budget, please apply for a campership during the enrollment process.

At the West End House Girls Camp we believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience summer camp. Our campership fund has been created for the purpose of providing assistance to help children attend camp who otherwise would not be able to do so. These funds are made possible through generous donations received from supporters who believe in the power of camp.

Who is eligible?

All potential campers with financial need are eligible to apply. First consideration for camperships are given to returning campers. First-time campers are then considered. Camperships are only available for one session of camp per camper.

Does a campership cover all costs?

No. Camperships are given based on individual need as well as funds available. The parent or guardian must pay any remaining balance.

Does applying for a campership mean my child is registered for camp?

No. Once your application is processed and an agreed-upon campership is awarded, you are responsible for finishing your application process by setting up an automatic payment plan for the agreed-upon registration balance.

Will I be guaranteed a campership?

Unfortunately, we are unable to grant every campership request. We receive more requests for camperships than we are able to fulfill. For this reason, we ask that all families contribute towards their child's camp to the greatest extent available.

What do I do if my camper is awarded a campership?

The campership offer will be good for 2 weeks. Once your campership offer is communicated, you need to go online and finish enrolling your camper by paying your deposit and signing up for automatic payments. If you fail to complete this process within 2 weeks of notification, we will use the funds to offer a campership to another camper. Once you accept the campership you must pay the remaining balance due by June 1st.

Will there be any differences for my child while at camp?

No! All campers have the same camp experience. No limitations are placed on our campership campers.

When are campership applications due?

Camperships will be awarded on a rolling basis until all funds have been awarded. The deadline for camperships is May 1st or when funds have been exhausted, whichever comes first.
