Change A Life…

What do girls get out of camp? On the surface, the things everyone gets from camp: Sunshine. Laughter. Campfires and new friends. But for some girls, camp is also a chance to feel safe, be themselves, and experience a judgment-free zone – things they may not experience elsewhere. They learn to make independent, responsible decisions when faced with challenges.

Unfortunately not every family can afford this type of opportunity. Our goal is to raise funds to offer “sponsorships” so deserving girls may benefit from the growth that happens in our camp community. Ultimately, it’s our goal that here girls find new skills, self-confidence, and a side of themselves they never knew existed. A side they can carry with them beyond their days at camp, into the real world.

We will work in conjunction with several other non-profit youth programs out of Boston and New York City and rural Maine to help us support children from underrepresented backgrounds.

We believe the camp experience has the unique ability to break down economic, racial, geographic, religious, ethnic and social barriers. Camp celebrates diversity and promotes understanding; and open-hearted children become open-minded adults. Join us on our quest and sponsor a camper.
